This is one of my stories that I have written for free writing. I would like if you could give me feedback and stuff that I can use next time I hope you enjoy it.

One warm morning I decided to go fishing on my boat but then my boat stop working and I saw a whale. The whale was coming closer and closer it opened its mouth then the wale swallows me and my boat I think I made a huge mistake and then I saw dripping tentacles. The dripping tentacles made the whale sneeze then I made my boat work again we were out of there time to get home. Halfway home I checked if everything was in the back and then all of my stuff was gone but it was replaced by lots of fresh fish. I got excited this many fish could feed the whole street so I went home and had a feed I shared with everyone. What will happen next time I go fishing? Then I saw the dripping tentacles hanging from the trees, I can feel dripping water going down my back.

This term we have been making pen with acrylics before we made our pens we had to research about what we wanted to put on our pen. It was 200 to 40 then you have to shear it to your teacher on email.

AIM: TO LOOK AT THE WATER CYCLE AND HOW CLIMATE CHANGE IS AFFECTING IT.
Definition:


the cycle of processes by which water circulates between the earth's oceans,
atmosphere, and land, involving precipitation as rain and snow, drainage in streams and rivers,
and return to the atmosphere by evaporation and transpiration.

Scientific words:

Evaporation. When water is heated by radiant energy it turns into water vapor.
Transpiration. Evaporation from plants.
Condensation. When water vapor cools, molecules join together and form clouds.
Precipitation. When clouds get heavy the waters falls as rain, sleet, hail, or snow.
Acidification: the action or process of making or becoming acidic.

We will be conducting an experiment that looks at the different ways that climate change
is affecting the water cycle.

THE WATER CYCLE EXPERIMENT
Bag 1: Normal Water cycle

Material:

Plastic bag

Vivid marker

1 cup water

2 drops of food coloring

Steps:

1. Get a group of 3
2. Get your materials
3. Draw with your vivid on the snap lock bag
4. But 1 cup of water in the bag
5. Then put 2 drops of food coloring
6. Then hang on the windows with the most sun on it. To put on window use double sided tape.

Bag 2: Water cycle with CO2 added: like Oceans in climate change

Material:

Soda water

Litmus paper

Steps:

1. Draw on the snap lock bag with a vivid
2. Put 1 cup of soda water 
3. Then put 2 drops of blue food colouring 
4. Put the litmus paper just on the top of the snap lock bag 
5. Then you hang it up on a window that get sun. use double sided tape to put on window

Bag 3: Water cycle with ice added: like Antarctica in climate change

Findings:
We find that the water cycle need water and the water would go around the bag
like a water cycle.

Conclusion:

I like how my group would help each other and listening to what we have to do. In my group
was kyla and may it is really cool to make and watch it during days and weeks.

Materials:

1.  x4 cups
2.  water
3.  tin foil
4.  2 sheets of white paper
5.  1 sheet of black paper
6. thermometer
7. 1 large cup
8. 2 heat lamp

Steps

1.   get your materials that you need
2.  full up the small cups with water 
3.  put the cups on the paper and tin foil equally
4.  put the big cup on one of the small cups on the white paper
5.   get the heat lamps and shine it on the cups
6. then you measure the temperature of the water with the thermometer

Findings:

some temperature were higher then the others and some were the same. But when we turned the heat lamps off. The temperature would go higher or lower. The one that was the highest was tin foil and it was mostly the same.

Conclusion:

When we were making the experiment my team were listening and helping when we needed help. With our experiment our temperatures were all most the same but with it it would go high then drop down but the time we turned the heat lamps on it would go higher then what it would when the heat lamps were on.

Hot Seat

On Tuesday we had Drama in drama we play a game the game was hot seating. It is a really fun game to play but as we were playing the game we were also recording it and performed in front of everyone. if you don't know how to play the way that we play is that you choose someone to sit on the hot seat and then they think of a person that they want to be and that they know and then you have to think of questions to ask them that will put them on the hot seat and that they have to think about. it is a pretty fun game once you don't have a term but once you are on the Hot Seat it's kind of scary when you have to perform in front of everyone in your class. the question has to be about their life and the physical activities and what they do in physical activity or like sports or something and you also have to think of a person that you want to be and that you know. these are the people that I chose.

 Pepe halbert - pere auntie. what she does that she plays a lot of sports like rugby, touch, and League her skills are to work as hard as she can her skills are to work as hard as she can and she practices to dance.

the second person that I have done with Evelyn Ahlbrandt is my friend at school and she is really sporty she loves to swim and play sports. her skills are to swim 10 lengths without stopping she is trying to swim faster and better.

The third person that I have done was Rob Kelly here's my dad and he plays a lot of sports bag rugby touch and Basketball. his skills are to get fit he practices to run and work out more.

the people in my group were Evelyn, Latisha and myself the person that we hot seated was Evelyn the person that Evelyn wanted to be with sky Brown the questions that we ask her when did you start to surf? do you do anything else instead of surfing? what is your hardest thing you've ever done in surfing? how old is your brother? what is your favorite physical activity? how do you get into surfing? why do you enjoy surfing? what is hard for you failing? what do you do in your free time? what is your favorite thing to do in surfing?

One cold freezing morning I was trying to get out of bed. After a few minutes, I finally decided to get out of bed. I felt hungry so I went to the kitchen there was a sausage roll on a plate. So I thought it was normal so I put it in the microwave and ate it. It tasted as it fell in my cat's smelly litter box. I grabbed the tomato sauce to make it taste better it didn't work so I went to watch tv with ice cream.

Kia Ora, welcome back to my blog to to I am going to show you what we have done for science.

Aim: My aim is to make sure that the experiment works




Materials:

1. filter paper
2. water based felt pen
3. 1 cup 
4. water 
5. pencil

Steps:

1. get your filter paper and water based pens 
2. measure up 1cm in pencil on your filter paper.
3. then you need to draw circles on the line you drew 
4. then you get your cup and your filter paper
5. with your filter paper put it in the cup but don't just put the hole thing in it put the paper in so it is. not on the bottom it has to be just off the bottom.
6. then you just leave it and wait for it to happen. 

Conclusion:
 In my group was Tahnesha and me. The colours that we used was black and green and instead of the colours going down it went up and over the cup where the paper was. The colours that we had at the end was yellow, black and red.  Here is a photo of the last part of it. Thank you for reading see you in my next blog post.

My learning story

 This is my learning story for P.E it tells you a lot about what we have done though out the sessions

In playback we played lots of games. We played  Ki O Rahi, football,netball,basketball and touch. In the four sports not Ki o rahi but the other four games we like to call is multiball. Also before we played Ki O Rahi we needed to go on google to find out how to play Ki o Rahul and what we needed to play.

For our warm ups we played silly banana that is like tag. But when you get tagged you have to put your hands up. like a banana and then someone has to peel you one hand at a time. like they are peeling a banana.

The other game we played is Bench ball. Bench ball is like netball but there is no goal. you needed to pass the ball to the person on the bench. The person how past the ball to the person of the bench is the one how can go on and help the person coach the ball so all of their team can get on the bench. The other thing about bench ball is when all of your team get on the bench your team will win.


Here is the second to last game that we played it is called Kick long ball how you can play this game. In the game there are two teams you have a team in the open trying to throw the ball at the person how is running and cheating the ball we they kick the ball and a team that are kicking the ball and has to run need to kick the ball and run to the other side. Fat mat splat is the same but there is three mats and you jump on them.
