Today I'm going to be telling you about Ti Tiriti O Waitangi. Throughout this week and last week, were learning about the treaty. We had to learn about it and then make a slide and put our answers about it. I hope you enjoy it.
If there is anything else that you know please let me know.
Good-Bye
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Aroha
ReplyDeleteYou have some good facts on this slideshow such as how the treaty was wrongly translated and how it made life worse for Maori.
You have used Nici's timeline, which has been copied straight from the journal, rather than making your own timeline. You also need to put meanings beside the words in your wordbank.
Mrs Hastie
Yes, some worthwhile information, but also some gaps. Agreed re. Nici's timeline and need to complete word bank.
