Scorpio

Kia ora,
How did Scorpius get its name? The Scorpius constellation has intrigued people for centuries, not only for its distinctive shape but also because it is one of the brightest constellations in the sky. The name is Latin for scorpion, or literally translated as the "creature with the burning sting." However, Scorpius is not a scorpion to everyone.
what is the story that leads to the name Scorpio? Scorpio, in Greek Mythology, comes from the story of Orion. This giant of a man was the son of Poseidon and Euryale, and was also said to be the most handsome man alive. He and Artemis were hunting partners. ... He went to Mother Earth and asked her to create a giant scorpion, which then stung and killed Orion

Find Your Own Source: Complete some research about why it is important to remember our history. Find an article or website that supports this idea. Remember, it will likely not be the first website you come across. It needs to be appropriate for your learning level and you need to read it. Use key words like “for students”, “for children”, “in New Zealand” to help narrow your search results.

Resting heart

Your resting heart rate (RHR) is the number of times your heart beats per minute (bpm) while at complete rest. It is an indicator of your physical fitness. Your resting heart rate will decrease as your heart becomes stronger through aerobic exercise training.

normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to 40 beats per minute.

Working from home writing

The old house

I was going for a walk around the block when I noticed there was a house I've never seen before it looked old like it's been here for a long time but i know it's never been here cause I've been down this road a lot.

so i just kept walking back to my house as i passed i saw someone looking out the window
from the corner of my eye but i decided to keep walking then it disappeared i turned to look
and no one was there only was a dog by the door it was staying still i went to have a look.
The door opened and I was looking at the dog. I noticed that it had passed away.

It smelled so bad so I covered my nose and mouth so I couldn't smell it that bad. It was a
small house. It smelled so bad I went back to my house. I couldn't stand to be there
anymore. As soon as I got home my mum was just getting in the car. I asked why she
said she was going to look for me because apparently I've been gone for one hour but it
only felt like 20 minutes.

When I got home I went to my room and thought about how I saw the house my friend
called giving me a huge scare. So I told him about the house and the person I saw in the
window. We made a plan that he would stay at mine and we would go check out the house
so I waited till he got here.

He texted saying that he was outside i went down stairs then outside to see him ask if he
needed any help getting anything he said nope so then he followed me to my room put his
stuff down in the Conner then we just talked about what we were going to do and how we
were going to do it.

It was really late my mum said that she was going to sleep and told us not to do anything
dumb so then we said goodnight she walked to her room but we didn't know if she was
actually going to sleep because we could hear someone walking around and everything.
We went to have a look to see if she was, she was but we could still hear someone
walking around the house. My brother and sister went to my aunts and uncle's house
with my dad. We didn't have a pet so it was pretty weird.
